Hello, Well, it's already the middle of July. Classes will be starting up again before you know it! Around this time a few years ago when I was a rising freshman at my university here, I got an email from the housing department saying that my roommate for the school year had been selected. They provided me with her email address and phone number and encouraged me to get in touch with her before move-in. I was a bit nervous at first but once I contacted her and starting talking to, let's call her Brianna, I got even more excited about attending my school and what my first year of college would be like! I think it's important for students to get in touch with their new roommates (if they aren't already friends with them) and open the lines of communication up right from the beginning. It's also good to set ground rules that everyone will respect. I mean, you will most likely be sharing close quarters with them for months, right? Did you contact your college roommate first or did he/she contact you? How did your first experience living with a completely new person go? If you're an upcoming freshman, have you gotten your housing info for next year yet? Are you excited/nervous/scared to meet your new roommate(s)? Anyone have any funny stories? thanks more details: product launching
